Cry Me a River

Last night I watched Gladiator with my son who was watching for the first time. This is one of those movies that makes me cry EVERY single time I watch it. I figured, I’d be safe because I hadn’t seen it in a while. I thought, “No. It’s not going to get me!” Yes, yes it did. I cried like I had never seen this damn movie before. So I want to know, what movie makes you cry no matter how many times you see it? Particularly what scene makes you lose it? Go ahead, cry me a river.

Movie: Steel Magnolias, or Terms of Endearment. Especially after what me and my family went through!! 🙂

Oh my goodness yes those 2 get me as well. The ones that hit close to home will get you every time. I remember watching Terms of Endearment as a KID and crying. Steel Magnolias, oy! I’m a cry baby. There’s lists of movies that I will cry over even if I watch them 100 times.

At the end of Goodbye Mr Chips when he’s dying but imagining all the children he’s taught over the years parading before him, I have to leave the room on the pretence of making a cuppa.
Inn of the Sixth Happiness when the old lady (I’m ashamed I can’t recall her name) falls off the balcony I feel like I swallowed a football.
